I think if they start charging the interest since day one, no point to have it in the first instance as you will be busy to clear it anytime you make a purchase to avoid interest, why not just use debit card ???
The point to having it is that if you can't afford to pay off the balance in full every month; you'll get charged a lower interest rate than TSB's other credit cards.
This isn't a new thing. 30 years ago several banks offered credit cards with no interest free period, alongside their standard credit cards, but I think TSB's Advance card is the only one left now.0
