I meant it by the roads he was driving on around the dealership as residential areas so he was doing about 20mph so he could start off slow, change gear slowly.
Whereas there's a road I often travel on, I go down a narrow hill and then back up it. The limit is 30mph but once at the end of that road, you have to emerge onto a 40mph road, and it's a very busy one so in that respect, I am required to pull out and go pretty fast.
And this is what confuses me, sometimes the car is good at getting out there, other times there's a pull and delay and I was nearly hit by a truck a few weeks ago
I've no idea what I'm talking about, but could it be the clutch?(I just lurve spiders!)

Have you checked the air mass flow meter as previously advised?0

I did question the clutch myself but when I took it in for a service with the independent mechanic, he test drove it and said he feels no problems with the clutch, so that put my mind at ease. But now you're suggesting it, it makes me wonder0 -
Why don't you just get it checked properly instead of messing around with a guy at the garage thinks or a bloke on the internet said that???Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

I've had it checked by this guy at the garage, I've had five other opinions from other mechanics regarding the rattling in the engine and I'm also trying to get JCT to sort it out or even inspect the car for me0 -
Are you forgetting to release the handbrake?0

Are you forgetting to release the handbrake?
Pff, that car drives even when the handbrake is on full! So that isn't the issue. Well, not all the way, but I had it up just over half way when I was in the drive thru at McDonalds, drove to the next window with it on as if it wasn't even on. I then realised the light on my dashboard and was confused.. :rotfl:0 -
