hi iam a property developer and we have just bought a large victorian house which is currently undergoing its renovations. i am not a builder but i think that some of your costs do seem high.
the rewiring, plumbing and plastering seem like average prices but the kitchen fitting and bathroom fitting all seem quite expensive to me.
We are turning our victorian property into two apartments so we have been priced for two large kitchens and two large bathrooms. The total cost of the kitchens and bathrooms including fitting and tiling with all adhesives and relevant equipment needed was £10,000. I must add that this isnt a cheap kitchen so when you think that you are paying £3500 to fit one bathroom and one kitchen thats almost half of what we paid for 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms fully fitted and tiled.
just my opinion!!0 -
