Saw one of these in Currys (Goji) at £25. No opportunity to try it out, but just wondered wether they are any good. (At that price !). Can you tie it in with an Xbox 1 ?. Where do the games (is it just games ?) come from.? Are there many games / What sort. Would only really want shoot em ups (Battlefield type stuff).
Can you only use it with a phone (mine Android Samsung).
Any advice/experience please. Cost not really a problem - best one to buy ?

I think the cheap ones are just a device for holding a mobile phone in front of your eyes and rely on an app that splits the screen in two to give you 3D.
I saw some in a B&M a couple of weeks ago for £7.99 iirc and a couple of times on some TV program or other a bunch af kids with phones on a homemade cardboard mounting. A woman was buying one from B&M at the time and said she'd already got one and that they were pretty good. I wasn't tempted myself though.0 -

a proper VR headset, which is what you're after, something like the Oculus rift, will set you back upwards of £500
the thing you saw is just for viewing videos really, they do have games on the app store for them, but they're not AAA titles or anything0
