I had a serious spending problem, I spent whatever credit I was given and didn't consider how I'd pay it back. I too ended up being bankrupt. The stress of going bankrupt once was bad enough but multiple times must be a nightmare. I was treated for depression and have no issues anymore. I think it's important to get to the reason of why you want to spend or you many end up bankrupt a third or fourth time.
  • I too am a compulsive debtor. I have been using SMART recovery and having some psychotherapy. After debting for 30 years, I am finally taking tentative steps to reclaim my sanity.
Until you deal with whatever is at the root of your spending compulsion, the DRO is going to be a temporary fix (as evidenced by your 2 previous bankruptcies). Safe journey
Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task
