Suggestion: new fraud forum

With so much banking fraud happening latelly it would be great to have a fraud forum where people could expose their cases, to help others prevent it. I have looked through the forums and have not found a dedicated themed forum. Does anyone finds it usefull?
Just recently i have been receiving emails from (supposelly) paypal that my account has been deactivated and i needed to give them my personal details and bank card numbers to be able to activate it. The website looks very professional. Obviously, it is fraud, but i am sure some people dont see it straight away and end up losing money to these fraudsters.

I'm pretty neutral about the idea, but I can see it could prove a moderation headache.
There would be endless posts from people claiming they have suffered a "fraud" because the:- They bought something on a CC and the shop has refused a refund when they took the stuff back.
- They bought goods from China which turned out to be fake.
- A lender charged them £12 for a missed payment, despite it being their first time late.
- Greedy banks encouraged them to get into debt, and now they are paying crazy amounts of interest whilst bankers are having a posh lifestyle.
- They signed up for a card offering lounge access perks, but when they got into the lounge, there was no champagne available.
Some of the above could amount to a "fraud" in certain circumstances, but probably not the sort you are talking about.0 -

Completely agree, how many times on the Praise, Vents & Warnings Forum have we've seen threads headed "Scam", "Fraud" etc., when in fact the poster has simply not read what they are signing, don't understand procedures, ignored T&Cs?0 -
I do see now the issues you mention. It was more to do with dodgy phone calls or emails or direct mail that keep defrauding people. But it could easily be abused by people that just want to winge about their wrongdoings or stupidity.
Well, it was just an idea, as the paypal email that i received looked very professional and it will defraud some people for sure.
But thanks for your comments0 -
I can just see it now - lots of claimed fraud, companies complaining about being defamed, but it will end up like this company that cannot be named:

Most fraud is through people's stupidity
I clicked on the link in the email that asked me to verify bank/PayPal / eBay
I failed to read terms and conditions
I had my pin written down with my card in my wallet
I downloaded that free software
I told that nice bloke on the phone all my bank details as he sad he needed to check them
It's already adequately covered by sections of the forumEx forum ambassador

While a reasonable suggestion, I agree with most here that the subject doesn't warrant a whole sub-forum of it's own.0
