    Experian seem to be absolutely hopeless at verifying ID. Unfortunately they're the company MSE have chosen to use for their Credit Club too. I tried to log into my account this morning and got asked to re-verify my details (having used it without issue for the last few months). I entered my new address - I moved in at the very end of August and updated all my financial accounts immediately - and it rejected me. So I deleted the new address, and got rejected again. Hopefully I won't be applying to anyone that uses Experian for credit checking in the next month or two (I'd planned to switch away from Santander as the 123 account no longer makes sense for me). If I can't access my own information what hope would any lender have?

    I absolutely agree with @adindas on this; these companies need to make the data they hold freely available to the individual, along with providing information on why they can't verify your ID if there is a problem.
