CP Plus at a Station Car Park

Morning all,
Not sure what to do - Ive had a few tickets before from private car parks which I have ignored but this one seems a little more legit.
It is from Woking Station car park and the company is CP Plus Ltd, found on my windscreen when i got back - i pay £16 everyday to park there but yesterday I forgot to sort it out on their android app (Ringo).
Can i get away with just ignoring this or do I need to appeal?
I've not yet contacted any party.
Many thanks in advance for any help on this. Its very annoying to pay such a large ammount to park everyday and then forget one day and charged.

Just to add, it says "all vehicles are parked subject to the Railway Byelaws and any breach may result in prosecution. Section 219 of the transport act 2000 raioway byelaws, section 14 under which cp plus has the lawful authority to issue the penalty for £80 for the following reason 03 (not displaying a valid pay and display ticket permit or voucher).0

£16 to park, unbelievable. When I lived in Woking a month's season ticket cost less than that. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

but this one seems a little more legit.
?????????????????????
a private parking company in bed with a train operator , trying to get you to pay a "bribe" , not to prosecute you under bylaws ?
you may wish to know that the goverment/DVLA are looking into this matter , and hve after 3 mths still not been able to understand the law , as written by them 4 yrs ago .
all cases going to appeal via POPLa are on hold

DELETE then redact your details from the pics NOW!
Parking scammers read these fora.
You should read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then send the appeal template you will find there, as near to the appeal deadline as possible.
You should also endeavour to pay the parking fee that you missed (but not the PCN.)I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Yep send the usual appeal template for BPA members on day 26 - do not rush it (see the NEWBIES FAQS. Very easy to win this at POPLA v CP Plus, or if POPLA adjourn it due to the byelaws issue, the case will time out anyway, after six months.
Hence why not to rush this appeal, slowly, slowly, catchee monkey!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
Thank you everyone for you quick and helpfup responses. It is much appreciated!0

remember with bylaws , only the train co can take you to court , and within 6 mths , so play it slowly , appeal as late as possible , time this outSave a Rachael

I think CP Plus are telling porky pies.
On the NTD it states,
"₤80 Penalty Notice"
"All vehicles are parked subject to Railway Byelaws and any breach may result in prosecution. Section 219 of the Transport Act 2000-Railway Byelaws, section 14 under which CP Plus has the lawful authority to issue this Penalty for ₤80 ..."
It also mentions clamping and a clamp release fee, and on the back it mentions a discount to ₤50, but if the payment is not made, a ₤40 administration charge will be added to the ₤80 penalty notice.
A prohibited premium rate 'phone number is used for telephone payments, and the vehicle was only observed for two minutes before the NTD was issued.
I think therefore there are several points for complaints to be made to the BPA and DVLA about this.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Just to add, it says "all vehicles are parked subject to the Railway Byelaws and any breach may result in prosecution. (That's nice that they confirm it--perhaps they could inform us as to who conducts the prosecution) Section 219 of the transport act 2000 raioway byelaws, section 14 under which cp plus has the lawful authority to issue the penalty (Said with confidence and authority, but evidenced by what?)for £80 for the following reason 03 (not displaying a valid pay and display ticket permit or voucher).band (but omitting a mechanism for their obtaining it if not donated freely
OP--you are now aware of the 6 month limit for bye law prosecution and that the PC will have no reason to undertake a prosecution,, as the penalty (if any) would not be going to the PC.
But hey-ho, plenty of letter recipients will succumb to the directive and chuck some money in their direction.0 -
My son in law has got an out of bay window ticket from Apcoa at the local station. I am waiting with baited breathe to see if they send him a DPA offending NTK.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
