If you "just" got scammed - you would be in the cooling off period and can demand a refund or if they are not forthcoming, initiate a reverse of the charges with say your credit card company or bank. If it was back in June last year it's not "just" got scammed so which is it?

You should raise a formal complaint with them (in writing, not text, email or phone), envelope marked FAO Complaints Department and get free proof of posting from the post office. Allow them to respond and you can escalate to the Legal Ombudsman if they do not respond after a period (8 weeks I think) or you are unhappy with their reply.

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

If I were you I think I might edit that post - unless, of course, you can add some details about how you were 'scammed'?

Taking money up front for a free of charge complaints process with no guarantee you will get a refund?
