Christmas at Wynyard Hall promises to be a cracker, with the gardens at this grand estate turned into a Winter Wonderland. A magnificent 25-feet high musical Christmas tree takes pride of place, while fairy-lit walkways wind their way around the grounds and illuminated life-size reindeer, swans and polar bears hide in the gardens. Children can visit the Ice Queen and her winter fairies in a mystical sleigh to have their photograph taken, and they’ll need to be on the lookout for Santa roaming the grounds. For the adults, there are wooden chalets selling hot sandwiches, festive treats, mulled wine and craft beers. The Christmas Barn is a shopper’s paradise, perfect for last minute presents.
Living North has five family passes (which admit two adults and three children each, worth £30) to give away to lucky readers – but the competition closes tomorrow lunchtime.
Each pass admits two adults and three children.
Valid for admission on 16, 17, 18, 22 and 23 December 2016 only.
The passes will be left in a named envelope at the admissions desk at The Gardens for each winner.
