Broken Table - Aceptable reduction

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a table with a marble top that arrived broke, the retailer says they can't replace the top and has offered a small reduction in price which is no where near enough to cover getting a replacement made, or a full refund and I return the table. I'm not really sure as to where I stand to push them on sourcing an alternative top?

Just return it and buy elsewhere.0

Is that the only table that they have.
As above, return it and buy elsewhere.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Gree with the above, just buy elsewhere.0

Apologies for the late reply and thanks for your thoughts. Unfortunately the table isn't sold elsewhere and is no longer in production so no options for a direct replacement. They have offered a 50% refund but that doesn't cover the quotes I've had for getting a replacement made. Am i within my rights to force them to pay for a replacement even if it more expensive or can they just demand I return the broken one.0

You have no right to force them to pay for a replacement top.0 -
If you know how much it will cost to make a replacement top, ask if they will reduce the table by that amount. If they will accept it seems a reasonable solution. If not, you can agree on a different offer or return the table.0

You can't force them to do anything, it's down to negotiation or accept one of their offers.0

They have offered you a full refund or a reduction on price if you keep it... simply choose one of themDwy galon, un dyhead,
