Hi l have just been quoted £2450 to get out Combi Boiler replaced.

The boiler quoted for is Worcester Bosch 30kw

It will be a straight swap in same location although about 3m pipework will need to be replaced to be 22mm
Will include a magna cleanse, a new flue, 10year warranty and a hive thermostat.
This will also be condensing boiler l believe

a total Rip-off! that boiler is about £900 itself, charging £1500+ for just fitting is a daylight robbery.

It's not £1,500+ for fitting. Take off the cost of the hive, magnaclean filter and flue .... £400 or so? The OP doesn't say which 30kW boiler it is. There's a few hundred pounds between the cheapest model and compact ones. Sounds a reasonable quote to me.

For reference we have had a boiler quote, in the last fortnight, for replacement of our normal boiler with a Worcester Bosch 30kw combi boiler, a magna cleanse, a new flue, 10year warranty a nest thermostat and a chemical clean of the radiator system, so a very similar package to yours.
Only difference being ours is being repositioned to the airing cupboard.
The quote came to just under £2800 all in.
This was from a company based in West Yorkshire.

It was £300 cheaper than the BG quote and the guarantee, which is underwritten by an insurance company not the company, is twice as long!
