Hi I am new here so I may be in the wrong place ( not very good on here ) I am having great massive problems with Lowell portfolio - bw legal , Lowell are chasing me for a debt which has now gone to bw legal, who have now taken out a ccj against me, I have written to both companys for a original contract with my signature. I also sent letters to bailiffs saying this , they have extended 10 days whilst I await a reply from Lowell - bw legal which ends tomorrow . I have today received a reply from Lowell with a reconstituted copy of they say is original contract but the signature is a print not my signature , they also say it is my address so it does not need my signature to enforce the ccj with bailiff action . please help I am at my wits end .

then how could they possibly have got a CCJ against you?
or do you mean they have sent their fake court papers to you?0 -
In other words did you go to county court or ignore court papers or are they just the usual frightener? Who are the bailiffs? If you went to court how did you lose if its not your debt?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Did you borrow the money or not?Been away for a while.0

This is quite completely the wrong forum for this!
Lowell are known to use scattergun tactics when chasing debts - They are currently hassling me for a debt from someone in Manchester with the same name and have done nothing about it. The principal for the debt aint interested either.
BW Legal are also well known on the Parking Tickets Board - so if you get into there (or even the Debt Free Board) you will get plenty of good help and advice on how to deal with them.0 -
Even bailiffadviceonline would be a good place to go, worth the very small fee.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Did you not read that?0 -
Yes he did read it but there are a lot of inconsistencies with the OP that facts would be a help.
Lowell buy debt, BW are debt collectors not bailiffs AFAIK, No comment about court case or ignoring court papers.etc.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
