Refund through PayPal

Hi I ordered a caricature drawing on the 9th Nov from a site advertised on Facebook. I provided a photograph of my grandson and also an example from their website showing the style of drawing that I wanted. Their site said to allow 7-10 days for my order. After numerous emails backwards & forwards saying they were chasing the artist for answers etc. I received an email on 13th Dec saying it had been posted on the 7th Dec & would be with me soon. It arrived the following day with a date on the postmark of 13th Dec! So obviously had only just been posted. The picture is absolutely shocking & obviously a last minute rushed job. It looks nothing like the photo provided or the examples on their website. I have contacted them requesting a refund but they are not good at communication. Will I be able to request a refund through PayPal or is this kind of thing not covered? Any advice will be gratefully received. Thank you.

Custom made items are not covered under paypal buyer protection so they would more than likely reject your claim on that basis.
