    Afternoon everyone

A nice start to the day, only got up at 8.30 then pottered around till lunchtime when it was time to set off for work - working till tomorrow morning then to drive home at 9am.

Dh seems to be making more effort today, keeps asking me if I'm
Okay and would I like a coffee.

Csarina - sending hugs to you, I haven't any words to
Ease your sadness. Hope you manage to think of some happy memories.

Hope Mr TA went on ok yesterday.
Redruby - enjoy your time off.
Tru - the carols are cheering me up each day, thank you

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.
  • Csarina where has this year got to. Time has passed so quickly, and I feel for you my dear, hope you managed to have some good memories to think of today.

Well I haven't poked my nose outside the door since Monday as I have had a really nasty cold and just felt so exhausted coughing and spluttering. Tonight DGS Ben is home from Uni for the Christmas recess and I am normally at DDs to see him,but I felt so awful this afternoon I went back to bed and have been sleeping on and off all day.

I so hope I can get to see him tomorrow, as its his 21st birthday, and I only have one more week until DGS Danny's wedding. Dosing myself up with lots of fluids and paracetamols.

Not eating very much at all just lots of soups and boiled eggs and I just don't fancy much at all.Luckily I have plenty of stuff in stock so no shopping problems, and my food purse is still fairly full as I have not been to the shops at all.

Temperature is going up and down like Tower Bridge, one minute boiling, next minute shivering,

DDs still not had the result from her dog Bowie's biopsy yet fingers crossed she will hear tomorrow

Just going to have some more bovril I think I am turning beef coloured :):)
  • Trying to find something I might fancy to eat ,and my appetite has disappeared completely, even a cuppa tastes of hot water.` Toast hurts my throat and evrything I eat tastes beige IYSWIM, any suggestions would be gratefully received. I have to eat food with my tablets, but I find it hard to taste anything at the moment
  • Jackie - whenever I'm not A1 I have a softly boiled egg chopped with pepper and butter, with a slice bread and butter or lentil
    Soup.

Could you try a home made smoothie of banana or other fruits with a scoop
Of ice cream in it to soothe your throat a bit.
