I'm just about to make the switch from Sky and John Lewis are offering a good deal.
I know that Plusnet is the provider behind them but as I'd be signing up through John Lewis I'd assume most of my 'customer experience' will be with them so wondered if anyone can comment on the service?
Seems to be little info out there.

Hi,
I used them a couple of years ago. No problems with the service & when I did speak to them they were very helpful( usual John Lewis customer service).
I am with Plusnet just now but would not hesitate to go back to JL if the price was right.

We signed up with John Lewis Broadband several months ago via topcashback and have not seen a sniff of the cashback yet and are having to chase it !
Anyone else had any similar exprience?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
Plusnet offer usage monitor. Does John Lewis offer the same?0

This is simply a branding exercise, so no, you won't be dealing with JL CS at all, but with a dedicated section of PN's CS.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I've had Plusnet for about a decade (since they bought out Metronet) and found them fine.
There is one disadvantage with the Plusnet Fibre offer (not the fibre extra) in that the upload speed is capped to 2Mb/s. This can cause problems if you upload big files (cloud backup etc.).
Quite a number of suppliers have a similar 2Mb/s upload limit on their basic package but personally I see it as a big disadvantage.
I can't find the upload speed limit mentioned on the John Lewis website but I'm confident it will be the same.0 -
Well the word is out, despite legitimately signing up via the TCB website and signing up for John Lewis Broadband supplied via Plusnet, i am now being told they have no record of the transaction and are blanking me. What a surprise.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry).
