No vat is payable on specialised parts and labour for such exempt items... Most companies will get the person to fill out a form so as to Invoice without VAT.

Note you can NOT reclaim VAT if it has been paid in error.

Have you had a number of quotations as some of the 'big names' charge a lot more ?
