  • hi,
i spilt some liquid foundation on my carpet this morning.......cream coloured carpet no less.:eek::eek:
i tried a couple of well known carpet cleaners without any success..... it left a horrible stain......
then i thought what about washing up liquid... i applied a couple of neat drops and then dabbed lightly with a damp cloth and it has all vanished....:T:T:T:T
so three cheers for humble washing up liquid......tesco own brand too....
i am so chuffed i thought i would share it with you guys...
    love

Works wonders for food spills on clothes too, especially fatty ones. Get it before it dries and rinse in COLD water. Job's done!
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

    Hi skintmum,

As your thread has dropped down the Old Style board I've added it to the main thread on getting foundation out of carpet so that others will find your tip more easily.
