Where is the ÷ on any keyboard?Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

The / is used for division on computers as the * is used for multiplication.0

You could try looking on some retail web sites (Amazon, Argos, Tesco Direct, etc) for photos of the device which show the keyboard.
I just did that on Amazon and found a Toshiba Chromebook model where the forward slash key (/) is next to the righthand shift key. That's also where it is on my HP Chromebook and on most Windows laptops.

On a Chromebook ALT+2 opens the second app on the 'shelf' at the bottom of the screen. Presumably you're getting the fourth and sixth too

What app are you using? If you're in google docs you can choose Insert > Equation, then the divide symbol is in the miscellaneous operations dropdown.0 -

CTRL+SHIFT+u, then an underlined u will appear. Then type 00f7 (zero zero f seven) and press Enter.ballyblack wrote: »Thanks for responding
