UPS Couriers Leaving Items In the Street!!

Just a note to advise that an expensive parcel I sent with UPS has been delivered to "Outside the front door" i.e. in the street!!. Customer service are not interested and have advised that it is at the drivers discretion to leave items outside properties - They are clearly very busy at the moment and form this experiecne I will certainly not be sending anything via UPS to be left in the street (read Lost)

Hugely frustrting but even more frustrating was the response from UPS themselves.
