Audio books when driving?

I am really struggling with my commute at the moment but because I drive, my options to improve it are somewhat limited. I've never listened to an audio book but I'm wondering whether to give it a go. Yeh also be aware of dialogue - My own awkward moment was with the first shades of grey book, but also had a small issue when I was doing my annual driver performance training and it must have been the start of a Paul Mckenna hypnosis book and it said 'you should not drive or operate heavy machinery while listening to this'

Luckily the assessor saw the funny side....
