Missing delivery from Yodel

Hi,

I recently made a purchase through ebay and the supplier used Yodel to make the delivery. If you go to

http://www.yodel.co.uk/tracking/JJD0002257336208273

You can see that they are showing that the parcel has been delivered, to my front porch. The problem is that it hasn't. When I have chased this up with Yodel they have refused to speak to me other than to paste into an email the information from the site. I got the sender to contact them and they supplied additional information that the parcel has been left under a trampoline. Which I don't have, and neither does any of my neighbours. I have opened a case with ebay about it and they have blindly followed the same path as the seller in stating that Yodel says it is delivered. so case closed.

Does anyone have any advice as to how I can get my money back? As it is £170 worth of parcel that has gone missing.

Adendum: should have said that I paid using a credit card through paypal. So I don't know if the old Section 75 is allowed.

Thanks in advance.

You need to get the seller on side and get them to chase Yodel on the trampoline angle. Your only other option would be to take court action against the seller. If you have evidence it was "left under the trampoline" and you obviously don't have one then I feel it would be a slam dunk win.
  • Sorry forgot to add, the seller is no help at all and is of the viewpoint that it is not their problem as they have a delivered status and that is the end of it. All I can get from them is a repeated copy and paste of the information from the tracking site. Alternated with entries of asking me to check with my local post office. I am not sure English is their first language. So there is a bit of a barrier there.
