PayPal Credit Card?

Options
Hello

A number of years back I had a credit card with PayPal, the credit card ended in 2012 or 2013 as they decided not to do credit cards anymore.
Having checked Noddle today I can see something called newday ltd which I assume now look after what was paypal credit card? Can anyone confirm this and advise how I would go about claiming? I have a bad feeling I no longer have any of the paper work.

Lastly I know I had PPI when I got a sofa through DFS in 2009, I believe the credit was through Santander, do I just contact Santander directly about this?

Cheers
Roughly 6k of debt , determined to have at least half'd it by 2013

Edit 2016 - now have a mortgage so more than 6k! credit cards are low and manageable.

NewDay are a firm who manage store cards amongst others, it's possibly they could have bought PayPal businesses but if the card was closed in 2012-13 it wouldn't logically follow that they are now managing your account - are you sure it was closed and not simply sold on? Do you have the card still? Do you get statements or spend on it?

If you want to complain about PayPal credit cards you need to complain to them as they sold it you. Do you know if you even had PPI?

DFS - you complain to them as they sold the PPI, the finance provider isn't immediately liable unless the person that sold the finance worked for them

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
