conveyancing early??

Does anyone have any experience of starting converyancing BEFORE you sell/buy your house?
In an email from Estate Agents' site https://www.primelocation.com they suggest starting conveyancing in advance as a way of speeding up the process once the sale/purchase is going through. An example is with https://www.easier2move.co.uk who quote online and will start preliminary work immediately you instruct them thus saving time down the line.
Good idea do you think?

    I wouldn't start too early.

If the sale falls through, you could have spent money on searches etc. that will not be needed.

I understand that, but, wouldn't those same searches still be valid for the next sale to come along and thus make that process quicker?

The searches are done in relation to individual property, so are of no use once the purchase falls through unless you can sell them on to someone else.

There is no conveyancing you can do in advance, because you do not know the details of the property you are buying. As I understand it from the website in the link, they are asking you to register with them now to save time later. There is nothing wrong in that as long as you check the T&Cs carefully and it probably would save a few days if your details are already in their system.
