  • Good plan to get yourself sorted by following the Dr's advice - no point on keeping on flogging a situation that's not getting any better after all. Great work on hammering those debts as well!

(Just a reminder on the fitness front - don't let that become something you do as a shield - if it helps with your MH stuff then brilliant, but there is such a thing as overdoing it remember! while it helps you to process stuff, brilliant - if it becomes something you do to stop yourself processing stuff, not so brilliant)

Hi Scott, I've just spend the last hour or so (sshhhh don't tell my boss) reading your diary - wow, you've been through a lot the last few years. Debt wise it sounds like you're doing really well!! I'm pleased to hear the Dr has referred you for counselling and signed you off again - I hope you manage to get some down time doing things you enjoy.

I'm now going to spend the afternoon looking at survey websites like Qmee, at the moment I only do ShopandScan at home but get about £10 a month including their TV monitoring

Good luck and I will follow with interest....

Thanks Anna yeah i have a relationship break down after 10-12 years, battling Bipolar disorder, family issues etc.etc thank you for posting. I am fighting things i am hoping the stuff my gp has put me on works. I am waiting too here back re counselling it takes a couple of weeks too arrange.

Re surveys i would start with these sites there the main ones i use.

    Prolific Academic
    Qmee
    Opinion Outpost
    Opinium research
    One Poll
    and Mingle respondi

    Any survey tips ask away

Shoppix seems okay too its an app where you upload copies of receipts

and Topcashback is a must too

I am training well a hell of alot but i am having a me day every 3 days where i do nothing. My next one is Friday i am going out with some friends for a few beers.

I do use it as a shield i do hear what your saying but if i dont exercise at all my mood rapidly dives x But as weird as this sounds when i distance run or distance cycle i do process and deal with stuff its my place too cope. I have done a 20mile bike today followed by a 2mile run. My name is down for a triathlon in April.

Good that you're aware of it - I have a friend who tends to do the same and she finds it quite tough to separate exercising because it helps her mental health from it slipping into a habit that actually hinders. She's a recovering bulimic so obviously has to watch the addictive nature of exercise as well.

Prolific is quiet for me too... annoying.

Do whatever you need to do to keep on the straight and narrow - you can come back to others' diaries when you're in a better place.
