Yeah it was the the username! I had clicked on you but then there wasn't a thread. But then I found you so all good :) I don't do nightshifts thankfully... I can't imagine what it would be like

Nightshift is not too bad once you get used it. Like anything there are pros and cons

    pros

no traffic to deal with going into work
I work 4 on 4 off major pro
pro nightshift shift allowance about an extra 350pound per month for working nights
pro i put 4 days hols in i am off for twelve.
pro i get to do surveys when it gets quiet after 3am and get paid for it £££££$$$££££
pro less gaffers in, less wip crackers etc less pressure

    Negatives
are mainly health wise its hard on the body and you have to be regimented with sleep and eating. I cant manage if i dont get 8hours sleep, living with my ex i had the neighbours from hell and i struggled severely with mental health issues. Cumbria/Essexhebridian etc can back me up on this :-(

negative i speak with some weirdo clients, ie drunk jeremy kyle guest style clients or drunks or people who cant speak English. I have lost count of the number of times someone has asked if i speak Hindi or Punjabi or Polish errrrrrrrrrrr no.

negatives i work with alot of people who !!!!! like crazy about anything everyone and anything ie people who got displaced from day shift unlike me.

Negative i am 38 and i am the youngest nearly on the department, and i work with alot of salad dodgers.
  • Well its a good day today I am off work now till Wednesday night yay lol.

Plus point today I have just being paid and yesterday I have had come in 42.50 from surveys :-) I have whacked 30quid off one of my smaller debits which felt good that's first credit down to 140quid hopefully that will be gone soon.

Survey wise today has not being bad, I did two prolific surveys earlier and a few one poll surveys my account is upto 3quid. Drop down at 25 quid is much better than 40 lol

Well young Scott never been called a salad dodger before ! The majority of my team are in their salad dodging years and the youngest is 39. The perks of being a salad dodger are we are only about 5 years of our pension at 60, sadly you are some 30 years away !

I have done 2 PA surveys in the last hour the most in a few days. Hope all is going well with OH. Has that bike been out yet this year ?

  • There wont be a pension by the time I hit retirement age if the tories are still in power lol Sorry re the salad dodgers remark it refers to my colleagues who have 3-4 dominos or takeaways each week. While I am eating chicken breast, kale and Sweet potato.

Re the bike no it got ebayed a few months back it cost a fortune to repair and being truthful I was so wary using it and my knee was not right using it. Its weird I am back running once or twice a week and have being for ages, but I could not use the bike that pedalling motion crippled me.

Nah no need to be sorry , I always have salad for lunch winter and summer , and yes the rest around me have McDonalds, chippy dinner etc. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I agree about the bike, no point in doing more damage,. Enjoy the weekend , hope the weather is being good for you. :

I hope so too I am going to try and get out running at least twice on my days off.

Its annoying aint it, I can't stand the smell of takeaways I also laugh the following week when my colleagues are on either the juiceplus diet or Cambridge diet which are seriously bad for your health.

Oh dear! Unfortunately that sounds like me and I'm not even young anymore! Must attain more willpower! At least nobody brings in takeaways on our desk at work though - we have a no smelly food policy!:rotfl:

Hope running goes well Scott. I've had a bit of a result finally with PA this week as well after a bit of a famine.
