bank account for international stuff

Dear all,
I currently live in Vietnam and have a bank account in Vietnam (which I cant change) and a bank in the UK (Royal Bank of Scotland) who I have been with for like 13 years now.
I get paid in USD, and so every few months I transfer money back from Vietnam to the UK. I then typically transfer from the UK account to an international brokerage account (currency in GBP). I do not want to transfer directly from my VN account to my Brokerage account as I still need my UK Account to have money in it and doing two transfers from here is more expensive and complicated.
The charges I get from my Vietnamese account are what they are, I cannot change them. What I would like though is to change my RBS account, and was wondering if anybody could recommend an account where:
- I do not have to put money in every month. Typically I transfer large amounts every few months.
- It gives you a good rate on USD -> GBP conversions.
- They charge very little for International WIRE transfers.
Preferably also a bank that are not a shower of !!!!!!!s, and have a reasonable online banking system
Thanks!
Alex

If you don't live in the UK unlikely you will get a new UK current account.
In your case if everything is working ok for you just leave well alone.
Don't go upsetting the applecart to save pennies.0
