Now that my Argos account is clear I need to concentrate on clearing my balance for our family holiday so instead of doing daily round downs to debt I'll be doing daily round downs to my holiday account but will be posting my debt repayments on here still just won't be everyday xx

    £3653.29 left

Made an overpayment to student finance debt, and direct debit went out for min amount to 0% credit card.

Can't make any overpayments with MBing as I need to build my savings back up

So think I'll need to have a go at some more ebay listings

#028 £25 paid to student finance. Think that brings my total paid to £175.26?

    Only £3628.29 left to go!

Was hoping to make a big payment this month but instead I used the £300 to settle one of OH's DMP debts. But I'm not including his debts in my countdown so waaaaah.

I didn't ever get round to listing things on ebay but I reaaaaally need to.
    Money money money.

    Hi Muppets and everyone,

Another £300 for me please, bringing my totals to:

    #79 £3,100/£8,470 36.60%

Our overdraft interest is now down to just over £9 a month. Down from £26 a month for most of last year. £17 doesn't sound much but multiplied by 12 - over £200 a year saved. Yikes! I'm glad to save it, but feel sick about how much of our income we donated to the bank in years gone past.

As to shopping, it's become quite boring. Now, everything I see that I quite like, and would have bought in the past, is prefaced by the thought "Do I really need it?" It's even affected chocolate purchases
