I need to get rid of £5380 in 2017, thank you
  • Hi muppets,

Can I be added to the challenge please?

I would like a new number please - I didn't last very long this year and in actual fact almost tripled my debt and I was doing so well before that :'(

    £0/£11,334.69

Bloody scares me writing that down! And I want to kick myself for getting in such a pickle.

First step today and closed all of my credit card accounts (now aware it may have affected my credit rating but not much I can do about that now, I just didn't want any temptations!)

Not sure on what I will be able to pay off as of yet, I just want to see it go down :)

    XxX

    Hello muppets et all,

I would like to join please. My debt is £9400 on one card and I hope to be able to pay it off entirely by end of 2017. The goal is to pay about £500 / month and also pay 100% of my annual bonus towards the credit card. I don't deserve that bonus, I've already spent it (3x that amount).

Thanks for adding me! Merry Christmas everyone!

  • Hi can I be added to the challenge please? I'll update with a total debt amount at the end of the year. I'll be aiming for completely debt free (excluding mortgage!) by December 2017 yay!

  • Can I join too please? In the nicest possible way, I don't hope to be here long! I'm aiming to have my credit card clear, cancelled and cut up in the bin by the end of April so I can get down to some serious saving. I like the look of watching the numbers come down on here with the rest of you though, extra inspiration :)

So my total to be paid off is £1828.21 (don't forget the 21p!) - getting me debt free
Debt free as of 28/03/2017 (just don't ask about the mortgage :rotfl:)
