What was your Freshers Fair like?

I have to say that mine was a bit pants.
The marquee that was being used was taken half up with a poster sale (funny thing was that I had already met the guys selling posters at Glastonbury and Reading this year), and then there was a few stalls for sports clubs. Two safe sex stalls, one student discount stall (not NUS), a scout leaders stall, Muslim club stall, St Johns Ambulance stall and a Boots stall which I got excited about because they were giving away freebie bags if you signed up to the health club but then found out it was a sample of perfume, a 'Get Gorgeous' CD rom and a million leaflets about Boots and it various services.
In the Uni building there was beer and cider club, environmental club, Christian Union, Socialist club, Student Union, Martial Arts, student teachers and a few others.
Got a tea towel, 2 cloth bags, handful of pens and I signed up to play hockey for the uni and join St Johns Ambulance. :T

My freshers' fair is on the 2nd and 3rd of October (not got to Durham yet) - apparently it is advised you go on both days, as some people only can go on one day.0
