Claim back APD from Jet2 Holidays

Unfortunately I had to cancel a holiday to Lanzarote with Jet2 Holidays. My Insurance Company duly paid out, LESS APD which they said I should claim back from Jet2.
Jet2 website doesn't give anything away about claiming back APD in such circumstances. When I log into "My Booking" it just says that the booking was cancelled and to contact the Pre Travel Services Team.
Before I do so can anyone confirm, or otherwise, that I can claim APD back? I understand that Airlines only pay APD after flight has departed and therefore only for those who actually travel.
Thanks in advance.

For flight only you just write to them, and they make a £25 admin charge. Package holidays may be different as Jet2Holidays are a different company to Jet2.com0
