Dro / iva?

Some allowances made for yourself on your budget do look a little skinny, and for the purpose of IVA, I should think that around £140 would be nearer the mark. IVA would not allow £40 for cable and a further £40 for internet, they would allow some of that but not all, though would certainly offset more against phone, including mobile, sundries and emergencies, sports and hobbies and depending on the kids ages some sundry school expenses. These should make any payment arrangement easier than the £230 you have quoted.
Alternatively, if you genuinely do spend even more than that but have been trying to cut back to meet your creditors halfway then it would not be the greatest stretch to get that a little lower and put you in the ball park for DRO. The CFS guidelines used for DRO are more generous than those used for IVA, but of course no intermediary will "invent" spending just to make a case fit DRO criteria so any revised budget would need to be genuine.0
