Smilemore benefit issue

We have a Smilemore current account which comes with mobile phone insurance. I put a claim in when a car ran over my son's mobile. The insurance company were pretty bad so I complained to Smile. Smile are fobbing me off and telling me it's not their problem and I have to complain to the insurance company directly. My view is that if I bought faulty goods from a store then it's for the store to rectify the problem, not pass me on to the manufacturer, and I think the same principle should apply here.

What do people think?

What have Smiles insurance partner said when you made a claim for damage, have they declined it and what reason did they give?

Have you made a complaint to the partner, the T&Cs say this is who you need to contact to make a complaint
