Ovo Energy has agreed to pay £58,000 to charity after its agents missed appointments with customers, or turned up late, and then failed to compensate them as required by the regulator....

Not only that, if my experience is anything to go by they're guilty of false advertising of their prices too.

Upon signed up recently, when I pointed out their Welcome Letter bore no relation to the prices they'd advertised on Cheap Energy Club and on their website, they admitted the real cost was far greater than advertised.0 -

The ones shown on the "My Tarriff" page are inclusive of VAT. If you multiply the figures shown in the Welcome letter by 1.05 (so, add 5% VAT for fuel), they're the same price. Unquote
With respect, don't you think that hitting many threads with the same message is unhelpful. You've done what most of us would have done which is 'ditch and switch'. Time to move on?0
