Does anyone know if you can keep the Santander Esaver Issue 1(5%) going if you move the 123 account to another bank?

I think that the requirement was to have a Santander current account?
Issue 2 here http://www.santander.co.uk/uk/savings/regular-esaver
If so, you can just open a standard current account with Santander through on-line banking and then switch the 123?0 -
There is no requirement for a 123 current account but you do need a Santander current account, to pay money into the savings account, and - most importantly - to take your money out when you need to.0

Many thanks for the replies. It looks like I will have to close it before I request the switch to TSB.
I suppose I will still get the 5% proportionally on what I have saved so far.
I do not really want another current account with Santander although they have been very good. It's just a pity they withdrew the best things the account had.0 -

It would not be much trouble to open a standard account through on-line banking and make your deposits to the saver through that?0
