I did it! I just kept on refreshing the page and eventually got on, and just stayed with it. It took me 15 mins but I managed.

Did any of you try for the £29 rooms or just the £1. I did this for my daughter in July and couldn't get a £1 room but did get a £29 one. She said it was great, so I tried for me this year, managed to get one but she didn't get anything at all.

There are 1000's trying, so not everyone can be lucky. I will try again next time but will accept it if I don't get one, it will be just hard lines.

I managed to get a 1 pound room but did not know it until the email came through after it had all finished and was in danger of trying another date as i thought i had not got it -the emails confirming went into my junk box as well. I also managed to book a 29 pound room for new years eve although had no definate plans of what i was going to do that evening. The system went down so many times when i was on there and had to keep filling in the same page and had to keep refreshing but think i was just very lucky. Not managed before so will be interested to see what its like staying.
