Barclays Graduate Addittions

Hey Everyone,
I received a letter recently from Barclays Personal Banking saying that the Barclays Graduate Additions Account that I have had since 2006 is being withdrawn along with the various benefits I get from it for £6 per month. (Mobile Insurance, Car Recovery etc)
I wrote to Barclays Personal Banking to complain saying that this was unfair as I'm on a strict budget and they contacted me and told me it was a business decision and everyone on this account was having it withdrawn.
No offer of compensation, or any apology. As a customer of some 20 years I feel a bit hard done by. Has anyone else experienced this?
Does anyone have any advice on what I should do next?
Thanks

Shop around for a new account.0

OP as they have given you appropriate notice of the change they can withdraw the account.
You now have 2 options - accept the decision save the £6 monthly fee without the benefits or as previous poster suggested move banks.
Some banks will pay you for opening an account.0 -
Yeah, its looking like I'll change banks. I think its disgusting that a bank I've been with for nearly 20 or so years is treating a loyal customer like a number.

Your expectations are, frankly, ridiculous.
You are one of millions. You aren't remotely important to them.
Get out into the market, get the best deal you can. Rinse and repeat regularly.0 -
