Hi, I'm looking for a new turntable for my hubbies Hifi, probably looking to spend about £250. His current one is a Dual, I think when he bought it he would have liked a Thorens?. It's fairly old. I was wondering if there were any suggestions about what to buy.

The Rega Planar 1 is in budget but it may not be that much of a step up from the Dual. I think you will need to check with your husband.
