    Hello hiddenshadow,

    Hi everybody.

#137 Reporting in with my figures for this year.

    February 50.00
    March 50.00
    June 9300.00
    July 34.50
    August 3865.50
    October 3367.58

    Total 16667.58

Very happy to announce that that's me done and dusted. Mortgage balance is currently showing zeros and we just need to sort out the paperwork, and probably a few pennies.

We've finally got there, and have shaved 6 years 8 months off the original term.

Thank you to everybody that has joined me on this journey during the 5 years that I've been a member of the 'mfw team' and thanks to all the people who have run the threads, VoucherMan, JCL, Lomcevak and hiddenshadow.

well done, bet you must be pleased, reading successes like these helps me keep on track and the goal in focus (though even with the OP's i have a lot of years in front of me!)

#79 reporting total overpayments for October came to £1226.43

Thanks and have a great weekend everyone! :D
  • #15 checking in again.

Got paid yesterday so made another £500 payment before I spend it all which is so easy to do. That brings my remaining available payment to £1000 before March 2018 which is totally doable (i hope!)

  • Hi hiddenshadow

    #10 here

Glad to finally be reporting a decent OP. Been waiting 6 months to liquidate an asset and the cheque arrived yesterday.

Subsequently a further October payment made of £2617! Resulting in £2787 total for October. I'm optimistically hoping to squeeze a little more in at the end of the month account sweep.
Hopefully that means we're closer to being in the green on this challenge. I suspect we won't make the full £5k target for 2017 but will stick with it.

Thanks for all the work you do in managing the 2017 challenge for us

    Thankyou
