Depends if you have solid grounds:

But to sue for under £500 only costs a £25 (£35?) punt, which is why PPCs do it. You do need to serve a LBCCC first and also including the landowner/principal in the contract as second defendant is recommended, as they are likely to panic, pay, or force the PPC to pay (and maybe kick them out).
All good, if a person researches it well and has good grounds, and determination to try. If it fails, so what? The victim will have cost the PPC a pretty penny and in reputation too - it will annoy any landowner principal into questioning why they use the bunch of charlatans they use.

Haha! Love the last line of your post!
Literally got this email 5 mins ago and I am so relieved. Literally lost sleep and caused me so much stress:
Dear Adam
Thank you for submitting your parking charge Appeal to POPLA.
An Appeal has been opened with the reference 3313486407.
Defence Systems Ltd have told us they do not wish to contest the Appeal. This means that your Appeal is successful and you do not need to pay the parking charge.
Yours sincerely
POPLA Team

I received a similar PCN from Park Watch on 15/2/17. This also has instructions to pay Park Watch Limited and has the BPA logos on the back, along with the company number 08047971, which is not park watch but Defence Systems Limited.
I'm just preparing my appeal to POPLA and would therefore be very interested in seeing your full appeal, especially the final wording you used regarding the above.
Also, any advice on when to appeal to POPLA? I was going to appeal today, after receiving my code from unsuccessful appeal to the operator. Is it worth waiting until near the full 28 days in case they don't send a NTK?
Any info greatly appreciated.

Over 2 months since the OP last visited the forum - best drop him a PM.
If this was a windscreen ticket and you haven't received anything in the post from PW (other than your POPLA code) and if you're going to appeal that no NtK was served, therefore no keeper liability, then string out appealing to POPLA to try to time out PW.
They have 56 days to issue a NtK, so work that date out first, if that is before your POPLA deadline, then delay your appeal until the day after. If the 56 days is after your POPLA deadline, then you must submit your appeal by the POPLA deadline.
Any more queries you have should be placed into a new thread of your own please. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
