I need holiday insurance

I need holiday insurance for my forthcoming holiday. I recently changed my moneyback current account over to an ultimate rewards current account with Bank of Scotland who were offering free holiday insurance among other great offers for £10 per month but when I phoned the customer helpline to register my card and book my holiday insurance they asked about any previous medical problems. I had a discectomy carried out in April and although it has been a success they say I need to pay £56 to cover me and my OH (he has very well controlled asthma) for this "free holiday insurance". As well as paying £120 a year each for this reward card, it works out more expensive.
The girl in the bank who organised the card made it sound as if it was a great offer - I wasn`t even in the bank for this matter, I was hustled aside so I could be informed of this card which did sound too good to miss. Maybe it is beneficial for some people who can use the other benefits on the card but if you`ve been in hospital in the last 24 mths or on regular medication or waiting to see a specialist then you are charged for the insurance. Anyway I`ve cancelled the card and gone back to the moneyback one but I was wondering if anyone knows of a good holiday insurance that will cover me and my OH.
