Electric off - peak Boiler controls - going loopy!

I have recently moved into a flat which I love, but it is all electric. I like a chilled room and have many jumpers, so not too bad!
However.
I have a very complex 5 rate version of economy seven, a meter which is equally complicated to read, and hot water that heats during the cheap period at night.
I've found a peak time boost button, but I'm darned if I can find a timer for the off peak periods! The light comes on in the night so I know it's running in the wee hours. There's a switch and light labelled peak, and one labelled off peak.
I've looked in every nook and cranny half a dozen times with ladders and torches!
Will one even exist? If so, what will it look like? Any help to keep my sanity very welcome!

You won't have a timer as such it will just be wired to the eco7 I'm not sure why you would want to turn it off & then have to use the boost button that uses far more expensive electricI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
How are your rooms heated, and is it the room heating you want to reduce?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

Hi, thank you. I dont want to turn it off and use boost, I just think I should know how things in my home work
If it's hard wired in to work during those hours, that makes sense. Thank you!2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -

The rooms are electric radiators. Those came with a booklet and a central control panel. However three cheers for modern insulation, I'm hardly having to use them at all.
I just wanted to know why I couldn't find a control panel for the boiler, and was worried I may be paying over the odds as I couldn't time it. See above, I think all is well!2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -
The "boiler" (hot water cylinder with immersion heater" will have a thermostat (inside the immersion heater cover) which controls the temperature. Once the cylinder has reached temp it won't use any more electricity unless you draw off hot water. Standing losses with a well-insulated modern cylinder are pretty low.
"Electric radiators" outside the off-peak hours will be using expensive peak-rate electricty, so if this is your own flat you may be better changing the ones in the hall and lounge to proper storage heaters that charge up on off-peak electricity.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Sounds like the meter itself is the type that contains a radio-controlled switch which turns the power on and off to the water heater at the appropriate time(s).0 -
