Talk talk different contract to agreed one

Renewed contract with TalkTalk in July. 12 month contract at £27 a month.
They never renewed this for the first month and was charged the previous charges. Agreed contacting live chat and explained they refunded some money the following month. All was sorted so I thought until today.
I notice I'm paying once £32 due to recent price increase and on an 18 month contract.
I can not find past saved transcripts so is my only login a Data protection request?
Don't want to complain now as I don't trust them. Transcripts have mysteriously gone missing in the past from other companies.
Anybody else had this issue?

Hello Jonny, you know you will have to call them and get a explanationTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

When providers were forced to give a combined broadband/line price, they took the opportunity of increasing this price by an average £5/month, which explains your price rise.
The price rise is allowed for in the T&Cs, but would probably not fully affect someone with something free (eg broadband) or reduced (eg half price line, meaning half the increase ) or prepaid line rental. Only the % discount is guaranteed and very rarely the monthly payment.
Have you looked at your online account, for clarification ? If you don't have one, set one up.0 -
When did charges go up? I've been paying the extra since July. Plus doesn't explain the 18 month contract.
Subject access request to prove my contract details will be asked for. Then I want to leave. Nothing but trouble lately with these.0 -
The inclusive prices were posted from 1st November, which doesn't fit with your increase from July, but in your original post you just mentioned a recent price increase.jonnyb1978 wrote: »When did charges go up? I've been paying the extra since July. Plus doesn't explain the 18 month contract.

Yes, sorry. Misworded it.
Basically what should be £27 a month from July has been £32 a month but with the added increase last months bill was around £33.00.
No way out of this unless I can prove my contract. Data protection request will take a month or two then backwards and forwards complaining.0 -
