Paypal :Shocking Treatment

Dear all,

Please could somebody help with some advice on how to publicly shame & expose PayPal for painting both myself & my wife as fraudsters & cheats? They will not provide me with contact details for their media department nor will they give me details of senior UK management.

Our story is a long sorry one, initially starting with an account limitation & is backed up with documentation & names, dates times etc.

I have written to the news section on this site, MarkThomas.info to add them to his "!!!!!!!Trade" list of companies & my local newspaper at present. I was wondering if I should contact BBC watchdog & if there are any consumer champion solicitors registered on this site or any individuals who could help us get our story some mass circulation on platforms such as Twitter.

Thank you in advance from two law abiding shocked & victimised people.

Best wishes to all for the holiday season.

If the media think you have a worthy story they'll take it up and print it. If you don't hear from them, time to move on. Paypal are a pretty big company, i don't think they'll make a habit of what you'e accusing them of.

They won't put you through to the media department, maybe because your not a media company?

Contacting anyone will be an issue if your a one off case and if there is another side to the story.

Paypal limit a lot of customers for various reasons. Its in their terms and conditions. I know its easier said than done but if you dont like it dont use them.

They do make mistakes and when that happens its not unknown for them to stick their fingers in their ears and close their eyes and sing lalalalala im not listening.

Who can help you get your story out? Lots of people with their hands held out for some money i guess. Or you can help yourself. Start your own twitter account or facebook group etc etc.

It all depends on what your story is? Short version without the waffle?

My advice is not to do any such thing unless you have comprehensive evidence to back up your claim. Any unsubstantiated accusations will either be completely ignored on stamped down upon very hard by their legal department.

If you are not happy with the service provided simply don't use them. Otherwise, what do you seriously hope to achieve?

You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

How did they paint you as fraudsters and thieves? The full story may be helpful.

Making vague, unsubstantiated allegations doesn't really give you much credibility. A fuller explanation would be far more useful.
  • happens a thousand times a day. media is not interested in every day stuff

try and sort out the limitation with them, supply what they require, or post here for help.
