Then on Friday night I had too much wine with my dinner to drown my sorrows and felt a bit rough next morning -TSB's fault again!

It might console you to know that you are not alone - I wonder was TSB involved here?

You might be best off opening an account with someone else, unless TSB will throw in some free banking as they admit that the account should not have been closed.

Your account number will be different anyway so changing banks will be no more hassle than restarting with TSB.

I agree, changing banks will be no more hassle and I will never bank with TSB again. But there are even more odd things. Yesterday I got an invoice from them saying we are £5 in credit due to refunded charges and they are going to credit my account - how? It is closed.

Also I realised today they have not sent me a statement for the past month. I cannot access online banking any more so I cannot print one off and unless they post one to me I have no statement to show the accountant, tax man etc. As it is a company account that is fairly important. The only thing I had from TSB was this cheque with a one line statement that it was my closing balance - rubbish.

Also the miserable guy yesterday said that customer services would e-mail me - of course they have not.
