Buying a NEW BUILD

You're really overthinking it. Honestly, step away from the price comparisons and look forward to your new home!0

Yeah I guess I was just worried that someone will come along and say that they want £20,000.00 off the asking price and then we look stupid for paying all that much more money for it.
Since its your "forever house" are you planning to prank people by putting it up for sale and have them come round and make offers?
If not, under what scenario do you envisage this happening?

we were just about to purchase a house from one developer in an area we were not so sure of with 6K worth of extras thrown in. The day before we were all set i popped to a developer in the area we really wanted but were priced out of and had higher house costs. I explained our situation and they offered us 13.5k of extras so it has meant we dont need to pay for anything but a few extras such as side door into the garage and a couple of extra tv aerial points. its the area we desperately wanted so was a no brainer.
If its your forever home and where you want to live there it doesn't matter what they offer as long as you can afford it. Go for it without regret that you could have more.
Ever new house on our estate seems to be reserved within two weeks of being released so we are really happy we said yes the same day. You would hate to lose it by holding out for more.0
