Scottish Power - online payments ??

I pay online with Scottish Power, but I only started with them earlier this year. On my account there are 2 cards listed. I want to delete and replace with another, so I emailed them and explained.
Their reply : "I am unable to understand the exact concern regarding the card, hence I request you to specify the matter once again, so that we can help you in a best possible way."
It was a simple message from me : how do I remove a debit card that I have registered on your site (there does not appear to be a "remove card" button), yet they responded in some OTT formal way, which displayed a high degree of ignorance. I mean, how can I explain it any clearer ??

However, I have had more problems with your online payments as well as the one listed. My card is rejected everytime I try to pay with it (works on all other sites), so I had to pay by online bank transfer. That's fine, but I did not receive any confirmation from Scottish Power, that the amount had been received - I've checked my SP account and it's back to zero, but I would have expected an email confirmation.0 -
You won't find many suppliers in any industry who will send you a confirmation of receipt email where you credit your account with an online payment.
Rather, the credit will be reflected in your next scheduled bill/statement.
If, as in your case, you have an online account, then that can also indicate the credit has been received.
You don't need an immediate confirmation of receipt. In case of later dispute, your bank can confirm details of where the money was sent.0 -
When I make any online card payments to my SP account I always get a 'Payment Confirmation' email in short order from [EMAIL="contactus@scottishpower.com"]contactus@scottishpower.com[/EMAIL], and the payments are then reflected in the Bills & Balances tab of my online account. For any other payments method, it only appears in the latter.0
