I'm not saying i don't believe you, but I find it hard that the house would physically flood from water seeping through bricks alone...
Cause damage to the wall, yes, but cause water to flood through..?

Yes, the ground level was too high before they got there, they should have noted it, but if they had, it wouldn't have been their responsibility to rectify it. You may have a claim for consequential damage, but ultimately after living there for such a length of time the main problem appears to be lack of maintenance

The lady and her manager both admitted last night during the call that it should of been picked up at the time. So based on that I would say they have admitted liability.

The lady and her manager told you it should have been picked up on the survey, but I doubt they have admitted liability for the high ground. Do you have a recording of the call?
