Help with ppi tug of war!!!

Options
Hi I recently went through a ppi company and they have found a claim for ppi on my mortgage. With a lot of pushyness from them I did everything they said and now they are sending a form will to sign and offer will be make within 8 weeks
But this week the back have been phoning us to get details as we we have bee. Offered money back on
Misold insurance but if we take that the offer be sign saying this goes for all ongoing and future claims against Halifax. Should I say no to them and stick with ppi company who take 25%:(

The bank are contacting you directly to check out your complaint. This is normal.
Don't worry, whatever happens, the claims company will want/ get their share if there's any refund.
    Remember it's 25% + VAT.

Halifax seem to auto pay on the MPPI element of their cover so not surprising really. Assuming the mortgage is over and done with you'll just get to hand over 1/3 or so of your refund for a company to post a letter lol. If your mortgage is still running I hope you don't lose your job or get ill for too long

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
