    I don't think it's an unreasonable request for this board - travel books are often the starting point when we choose a holiday location. Perhaps a rephrasing of the subject to 'What books (of photography) inspire your travels?'

    Its a perfectly reasonable request for this board based on the readership, knowledge and scope and as said its often the start of an adventure.

    Personally I've never seen the point of books just so that you can put them on show.
